🇲🇰 North Macedonia: the national team will use a format similar to the ESCZ
Eurovision Fun reports that North Macedonia will use a format similar to the Czech selection to determine their Eurovision 2022 selection.
According to Eurovision Fun, Eurosong is the name of the selection previously announced by MRT. Eurosong was used to select the Macedonian representatives in the 2005 and 2006 editions of the Eurovision Song Contest.
The website also reports that recordings of the performances of the competing acts will be made, in which the artists will likely perform their songs live, with a similar background. This follows the format used by the Czech ESCZ selection for the Turin competition.
All singers and composers must be Macedonian citizens. Anyone interested in submitting an application should send it to firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline for submitting applications is January 16, 2022.
As previously stated from the submissions received, six songs will be chosen to participate in the national final. The result of the national final will be decided by the vote of the jury (50%) and the vote of the public (50%). The winner will represent North Macedonia in Turin.
Vasil represented North Macedonia at Eurovision 2021 with “Here I Stand”. He finished 15th in the first semi-final with 23 points.

In 2016 they were represented by Kaliopi for the second time with the song “Dona”, she missed the final by finishing 11th in her semi-final.
